CD Backup Service
Now you
can get better organized and free up LOTS of space on your disk by moving
your little used and/or huge files to CD's!
I will come to your office, with my external CD burner, plug it into
your computer, and make a CD backup copy of anything on your computer.
It's a great way to make a PERMANENT copy of anything you
want to keep around, such as:
- Data Archival (all that stuff that's been following you around
from computer to computer--gotta keep it, but you never really look
at it)
- Music files (boy do MP3's eat up space... burn them all to
a CD and play them from there!)
- Pictures (you know...now THOSE taken up some space since you
bought that digital camera)
- Software CD's...(ever worry that that $400 software CD you
just bought might get scratched and be unusable? Now you can work from
the backup)
- Data Snapshot (Make a "today" back up all the files
you are currently using--you can put into any computer just like a little
portable hard disk)
If you don't back up your files, you really need this service--it's a
fact of life--one day your computer WILL die. But, many of you will ask,
WHY do I need this service if I already use a tape or floppy
disk backup system... Here are some great reasons to back up (even just
once) to a CD:
- Files are easily accessible (ever try to look through an entire
tape backup for a file... it can take HOURS!)
- Files are portable (CD's are like little 700Mb hard disks that
you can pop into ANY computer and pull up your files just like they
were on the C: drive!)

CD Backup Rates
What I do is come to your office, plug in and
set up my CD burner, and copy whatever files you want onto CD's.
We can put lots of data on the same CD, or we can put different
types of files on different CD's (MP3's on one, client files on
one, correspondence on one)!
Generally, the entire process takes about an hour
for one CD, and another 20 minutes for each CD thereafter.

fits on one CD) the entire process takes about an hour, for a total
